About University of New South Wales (UNSW)

UNSW Scholarships is responsible for the administration of all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework scholarships offered at UNSW and is the point of contact for any questions relating to these scholarships. Scholarships are offered in a variety of categories and are funded by the University with the support of many generous donors and organisations. Merit Scholarships are available to recognise your academic and other achievements (such as leadership, community involvement, commitment to a program of study).

Aim and Benefits of UNSW International Scholarships

The scholarships may provide full or partial tuition fee payment, while others provide a stipend to assist with the costs associated with your studies.

Requirements for UNSW International Scholarships Qualification

1. Recipients must be:
2. An International student
3. Be commencing full-time studies in Term 3, 2020; and
4. Must have received an offer of admission and be commencing in any UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program by Friday, 31 July 2020. This must include one of the following:

1. Undergraduate or Postgraduate Letter of Offer (unconditional)
2. Undergraduate or Postgraduate English Package Offer (UEEC) – students must be enrolled in the UNSW Institute of Languages and successfully complete the program prior to commencing studies.

Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

1. Academic Merit
2. Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
3. Extra-curricular activities (cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
4. Aptitude and commitment to your chosen area of study
